IntroductionThis course is designed for applicants who wish to go ahead to degree level to study horticulture or landscaping. Also, it will suit the hobby grower who could expand into a viable area of business and anyone who wishes to work in General Horticulture. The emphasis will be on practical work with the use of the school garden and plastic tunnel for growing food and ornamental crops. Chemical use will be kept to a minimum for personal and environmental safety.
