Rossa College is a modern up to date facility where teachers and pupils can avail of the most advanced teaching and learning resources. The College offers a comprehensive range of subjects taught to the highest standard by a dedicated staff. The result is that our pupils excel in their examinations. Our educational programme is complimented by our fine tradition of sporting excellence and a strong commitment to participation in a number of key extra-curricular activities such as debating, enterprise,quizzes, competitions, young scientists’ exhibition, etc.

In keeping with our caring ethos, we carefully manage the transition from primary to secondary school. We recognise it is a big step for all primary school pupils so we have a range of policies, procedures and practices geared to helping students make as smooth a transition as possible.

We delight in the success and achievements of all our past pupils in their chosen careers—in business, commerce, trades, industry, government services, farming, the professions etc. We follow their careers with great interest. We are confident they will continue to prosper, grow and achieve long after their time in Rossa College.

Rossa College has a long history of service to the community here in Skibbereen (dating back to 1902) and has long been associated with success and achievement.
